Verification hierarchy
- Official retailer page or terms. Preferred source for a live retailer policy.
- Official corporate announcement. Accepted when it clearly states the current policy and no newer contradictory source is found.
- Store-specific official page. Published as Regional, never promoted to chain-wide.
Status rules
Verified means the live entry is supported by a current first-party source. Regional means the evidence only covers a defined location or subset. No current chain-wide discount is used only when PerkCheck has enough evidence to make that statement safely. Needs recheck is for a previously sourced offer whose current status cannot be reconfirmed.
Freshness
Every row stores last_verified. Future production tooling should place records into a recheck queue based on age, volatility and source quality.
